ProRock Outdoor Card

Prorockoutdoor has been promoting the area between Liguria di Levante and Alta Versilia for 25 years now in cooperation with professionals such as the ProrockOurdoor Professional Guides, associations and local administrations, maintaining trails, climbing routes, creating illustrative material and events related to the outdoor world.
In order to achieve its goal, it relies on a network of activities that believe in our objective and bring benefits and satisfaction to all those who operate and frequent the same area.
The ProrockOutdoor Mountain Guides voluntarily dedicate their work and part of their finances to this purpose: if you would like to join them, you can do so with your presence or by donating a voluntary contribution!
N.B.: all financial contributions will be used for the enhancement of the area, the development of trails and climbing routes

How much does it cost?

There is no cost, it is offered to all ProrockOurdoor Guide customers who apply for it and serves to identify you as our partner, take advantage of the conventions and contribute as a free offer to our activity of maintaining the territory... our playground!

Is it compulsory?

The membership card is not compulsory and is released from any insurance cover i: all those who work with Professional Guides are covered by public liability insurance.

Housed in an 8th-century Romanesque monastery near the Badia di San Pietro, a few steps from the historic centre of Camaiore on the 17th Stage of the Via Francigena. It offers hospitality in mixed dormitories with 4 to 8 beds, with wooden-beam ceilings and single beds with duvets; shared bathrooms and showers, free WiFi, lockers, use of communal kitchen. Orto di Donna Alpine Shelter

The Orto di Donna refuge, in Orto di Donna, in the municipality of Minucciano in the northern Apuan Alps, is located at about 1,500 m above sea level. It is an ideal point for excursions in this fascinating part of the Apuan Alps with the warm welcome and advice that Stefania, who with her team has always managed it, will give you. Open at weekends from May to September (also in October, weather permitting!) and every day in July and August, both for overnight stays and super lunches! Reservations are appreciated.

Aldelmo Puliti Refuge

Rifugio Puliti is located in the heart of the Apuan Alps, at Case Giannelli, 1016 metres above sea level and only a 15-minute walk from the road. It is a perfect foothold for adults and families organising days of walking among the ancient villages of Garfagnana and historical Versilia. The refuge offers lunches and dinners, favouring 0 km and low environmental impact products.
It has 14 beds on the first floor, in a dormitory with bunk beds and a shared bathroom with hot shower. Because of its location, it is an excellent solution as a stopover place on the Apuan Alps Traverse.
Since March 2024, the facility has been in the care of the association 'Il Biancospino' and has recently been renovated. It is open every Sunday (even in winter, except in the event of snow or rain) and at any other time by reservation by contacting the managers!
