Climbing is in fact instinctive, an innate desire to overcome the vertical challenges that voluntarily or by chance we find in our paths. It’s a game that children, once grown up, transform into a sport.
We offer short courses in the form of “climbing days”, courses and internships, all aimed equally at both beginners and the more experienced.
The various possibilities:
Climbing Day:
You will have the opportunity to climb in a group always with the assistance of an Mountain Guide, both to get started, to improve your skills or to get to know new places assisted by an expert who also has knowledge of the new crags.
Technical and safety days:
Day courses dedicated entirely to the technical aspects of safety, learning about belay and rope technique, giving you a chance to learn the basics or improve your knowledge of safety.
Self-rescue on the wall:
Open to all but aimed specifically at climbers and Rope Access workers. This course teaches participants the skills required to intervene when necessary to rescue their partner in the event of difficulty or a minor accident during a big wall ascent or while carrying out suspended work.
Basic sports climbing course:
These are courses aimed at beginners in which particular importance is given to teaching the fundamentals of climbing technique. You will learn the use of the equipment by climbing on some of the most famous crags of Tuscany and Liguria. For the technical aspect of the instruction we follow the MOUNTAIN GUIDES technical manual together with our exclusive P.E.R manual.
You will learn basic safety manoeuvres and the use of equipment by climbing in the most famous rock gyms in Tuscany and Liguria. For teaching purposes, we will use the technical texts of the Italian Alpine Guides and our exclusive P.E.R. Manual.
Climbing Internships for Intermediate level:
Aimed at those who have already attended a basic course or have previous climbing experience.
A minimum technical level of 5c is required. Particular attention is given to advanced climbing technique such as the triangle method and lateral movement while also taking into consideration the tactical-mental aspect which is so indispensable for climbing increasingly difficult routes
Time will also be dedicated to particular climbing styles, such as cracks and granite as well related topics such as bolting outdoor climbing sites.
Climbing masters:
Several days of "full immersion" climbing in some of the most famous climbing locations in the world where you will climb routes from 20 to 300 meters in length, both as second and lead climber: Verdon, Vercors, Calanques, Sardinia, Greece, Sicily, Wenden, Ratikon, Valle dell' Orco, Val di Mello, Briançon, Yosemite and all the places where hard rock climbing is practiced on both bolted and “trad” routes. Participants must have minimum technical ability of 6b with a maximum of two participants per Guide.
Progression on classic multi-pitch routes in the Apuan Alps: Courses of 2 or 3 days or possibly a long weekend (Fri, Sat. Sun.) Here you will learn the various ways to ensure safe progression in multi-pitch scenarios. This will include belay anchor building, the use of fast protection and the various methodologies for belaying both the first and second climbers, both from a theoretical perspective but above all with hands-on practical instruction. The practical lessons will be conducted climbing classic routes in the Apuan Alps. Course participants need a basic knowledge of climbing.

Via Ferrata
A via ferrata is a set of cables, metallic rungs and occasionally even ladders artificially installed on a rock face to facilitate a safe ascent as part of a hiking trail. You will enjoy via ferrata climbs in the Apuan Alps or the Dolomites with difficulty ranging from the easiest to the most legendary. For those who seek even greater challenges there is always the possibility of trying the extreme aided routes on the French cliffs.
We offer guiding on mountaineering routes in the Apuan Alps, the Apennines, the Alps or even further abroad where you climb everything from snow gullies to classic or modern winter climbs.

Winter Mountaineering Course
This course is aimed specifically at beginners who want to learn the fundamentals of classic progression on snow and ice. You will learn the correct use of crampons and get to practice climbing using ice axes on slopes of up to 70 degrees. No less important will be the learning of belaying techniques with some important notions on the stability and grip of the snowpack.
Winter ascents in the Apuan Alps
Mt. Pisanino, Pania della Croce, Mt. Cavallo, Mt. Contrario: choose a climb from the abundance of possibilities, from a classic frozen gulley to a modern mixed route.
Goulotte in the Alps
Climbing frozen waterfalls in the Western Alps. The best conditions for climbing these "high-altitude waterfalls" usually occur during the spring months. We will head up icy ribbons enclosed between the granite pillars of the Mont Blanc massif. Max two people per guide.
Classic Mountaineering
Climb some of the most beautiful peaks of the Alps via the most classic grade IV and V routes. Reserved for those who love to enjoy a relaxing day in the mountains. Aiguille Noire – South ridge; Pizzo Badile - Spigolo Nord, the most beautiful IV grade classics of the Dolomites – a chance to do one of those climbs you have always dreamed of but never found the partner to go with.

When you get to lay your hands on the Gran Capucin "Rosso Protogino" you will understand why certain routes attract climbers from all over the world.

Ice climbing course on frozen waterfalls
Also aimed at beginners with knowledge of at least basic rock belaying manoeuvres. The course will take place in the Alps on low-altitude waterfalls and special attention will be given to technical progression in piolet-traction with ice axe and crampons. You will discover the fascinating world of steep ice with all the basic belaying and progression systems.
Advanced climbing course on frozen waterfalls
Aimed at those who have already attended a basic course or have previous experience; the course will take place on multi-pitch waterfalls and will mainly focus on advanced technical progression with the use of ice axes, also in hooking. A minimum level of grade 2 on the Canadian rope leader scale is required.
Master on frozen waterfalls
"Trips' to the most famous ice streams: Val di Cogne, Gavarnie, Fressinieres, Canada.
A minimum of grade 4 on the Canadian Rope Scale is required.
Max. two persons per guide.
Both in the Apuan Alps and the Apennines the rainfall and the diurnal temperature fluctuations are particularly favourable for creating near perfect snow and ice conditions: the ideal environment for skiing on pristine slopes.
Off-piste skiing is about discovering new emotions, responding to the natural call of virgin snow, measuring your skills on pristine slopes so different from the regular slopes and for that reason so very inviting.

Basic ski touring course
A different way to get to know the mountains in winter: climb slopes with ski skins then descend off-piste to learn the fundamental techniques of skiing on fresh snow. Particular importance will be given to safety, self-rescue and knowledge of the snowpack. Reserved for beginners who have a good level of downhill skiing technique on-piste.
Ski-Mountaineering Advanced Course
You will learn the most advanced ascent and descent techniques, we will practice "real" ski-mountaineering by making ascents and confronting significant mountaineering difficulties where the participants will be the organizers of the trips under the supervision of the Guide. Reserved for those who have a good level of on-piste skiing and already have previous ski-mountaineering experience.
Trips to the Alps
Full immersion ski mountaineering in the Alps: we will take our skis to the most beautiful mountains in the Alps, also undertaking multi-day raids such as the "Chamonix-Zermatt". At the end of the season we will climb the highest peaks in Europe, Marmolada, Monte Rosa and Mont Blanc with the descents of the Mèr de Glace glacier and the Toula glacier.
Off-piste with ski lifts
To leave the obligatory itineraries of the slopes and expand one's technical level of descent.
A chance to Ski and Snowboard off the standard piste with a view to improving your technical ability in descent. Marmolada, Monte Rosa, Val d'Isere, Mont Blanc: breath-taking descents on the most beautiful "powder" of the Alps, Freeride in the most famous ski areas in Europe such as La Grave and Verbier.
Ski-Mountaineering Outside Europe
Tailor-made programs for ski expeditions to the mountains of the world - Norway, Iceland, Canada, Alaska, Morocco, Nepal and every ski mountaineer's dream: the ascent of Muztagh Ata 7546mt. in China.
Canyoning is the activity of descending torrents, following the natural water courses that have been sculpted into the rock by the water over the millennia. Tours include dives, slides, abseils and short swimming sections.

This is a particularly fun activity, undertaken in a wild and often dramatic environment.
The Apennines and Apuan Alps are home to some real geological jewels, ideal for this activity that has become increasingly known and popular in recent years. We go from rope descents in dry "gorges" to those where the use of a diving suit is essential due to the presence of pools and waterfalls. Canyoning is a fascinating sport that can be carried out in a group and is aimed at people who in the summer months are looking for a day away from the heat and the overcrowding of the beach.
