All about the Corso di progressione su vie ferrate.
A via ferrata is an access route to a summit or any other mountaineering destination that is already marked out and equipped with cables, stirrups, and other fixed anchors (e.g. ladders or wooden footbridges) that facilitate its difficulty. In some cases, such artificial equipment makes the rocky terrain or an exposed route practicable, putting it within the reach of even an inexperienced mountaineer, greatly increasing the safety level of the climb.
Today, via ferrata is a recreational activity accessible to all, which consists of traversing a sporty route on a rock face, equipped with cables, steps, ladders and other elements designed to facilitate progression while ensuring safety.
During the course, we will climb two beautiful and classic via ferrata routes in the Apuan Alps in a didactic manner.
The minimum number of participants to start the activity is 3 persons.
