Cresta Gialunga

The Cresta di Gialunga is situated on the south-east face of Pania Secca, in a rugged and little-visited area. The climb involves a challenging approach and requires sustained effort.

For these reasons, it is an ideal location for an advanced Apuan climbing course, designed to help participants develop the skills to manage protection, make progress and belay, both in a lead-climbing scenario and when climbing on a fixed rope.
