First steps with ice axe and crampons

The Giovo-Rondinaio area, peaks above the Modenese Lago Santo, is the ideal terrain in winter to learn the basics of progression with ice axe and crampons.
The ascent to Monte Rondinaio or Monte Giovo do not present any particular technical difficulties, although the Apennine terrain in winter is always treacherous and therefore a good deal of care is required.
It is possible to rent technical equipment - with the exception of crampon boots - from Prorock Outdoor: helmet, harness, ice axe(s), crampons (the cost is 10.00 euro per piece: 10.00 euro crampons, 10.00 euro ice axe, etc.).

The minimum number of participants to start the activity is 4 persons.
