fromDates21, 28 January and 4 February

The deadline for registration and payment of the deposit is 09/01/2024.

- Activity Level Beginner
The course includes 3 outings, of increasing difficulty in terms of both physical and technical commitment. We will start with cramponage technique (use of crampons and ice axe on easy terrain) and then move on to steeper ice climbing technique. We will also learn basic safety techniques related to the winter environment (e.g. self-arrest, specific snow and ice anchors, snow and avalanche hazards, etc.).
The aim is to make participants understand what it means to go into the mountains in winter safely with a view to rope autonomy.
It is possible to hire technical equipment - with the exception of crampon boots - from Prorock: helmet, harness, ice axe(s), crampons.
The minimum number of participants to start the activity is 4 persons.
