Cristian has been going to the mountains since he was a child, thanks to his family’s passion, both in summer and winter. He learnt to ski at a very early age and competed until he was 16. As early as 2001, he attended his first climbing course with Roberto Vigiani. Since then – albeit with ups and downs – climbing has always been part of his life. As he grew up, he expanded his circle of acquaintances amongst mountaineers and climbers in various parts of Italy who, thanks to their profession as mountain guides, had managed to combine work with their passion. So, in 2021, he decided to sit the selection process to join the course for aspiring mountain guides, and in November 2022 he obtained his professional qualification, embarking on this fantastic journey.
