The decision to become a mountain guide came after 30 years of classic mountaineering, lots of skiing and sport climbing.
His CV includes a non-European expedition, the opening of rock routes, first repeats and winter firsts as well as participation in national sport climbing circuits.
In the area of teaching climbing techniques, Carlo has refined creative teaching tools of immediate comprehension and effectiveness disseminated through stages (P.E.R method) and, given consensus, collected in a manual.
Carlo, a law graduate, has been teaching/training for over 10 years on the use of anti-fall PPE in work at height, including access and positioning systems using ropes.
Since January 2020, he has been a National Instructor of Alpine Guides Trainer in the field of Fall Protection Systems D.LGS 81/08
